I stumbled into the wine business without meaning to. I've always been obsessed with music and reading, and those obsessions inform my point of view about wine.

I hope to get other folks who love culture (movies, books, records, art) to think about wine in the same way. Wine is a cultural item, and can be enjoyed in the same way we enjoy our favorite hobbies. It doesn't have to be an obsession, nor does it have to cost a lot of money.

Wine should have something to say about where it came from and how it was made, above all it should be a pleasure to drink.
